Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of ChaloGarba at chalogarba.app ("ChaloGarba", "we", "us"), operated by [Operator legal name], [Registered address, City, State, PIN]. By using ChaloGarba you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. What ChaloGarba is

ChaloGarba is a community-built directory of Navratri garba events. It lets you RSVP, check in at venues, collect stamps and badges, and share cards. We don't organise, host or sell tickets for any event. Bookings made through links on ChaloGarba are between you and the organizer or the ticketing platform.

2. Your profile

• No password is needed. A random identifier stored on your device acts as your login. If you clear your browser data or change phones, you can lose access. To restore your profile on another device, link a Google account on your profile page.
• Your display name has to be your own. It can't impersonate another person, organizer, brand or ChaloGarba, and it can't be offensive.
• You are responsible for activity on your device.
• Use ChaloGarba with a parent's or guardian's consent if you are under 18.

3. Community content

When you add a venue, suggest an edit, post a report or submit an idea, you confirm that, to the best of your knowledge, it is accurate and that you have the right to share it. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, edit and share that content as part of ChaloGarba.

We may review, edit, reject, hide or remove any content at our discretion. Event information comes from the community and may be incomplete or out of date. Check timings, prices and entry rules with the organizer before you go.

4. Check-ins, stamps, badges and titles

Stamps, badges, titles and leaderboard ranks are for fun. They have no monetary value and can't be exchanged or transferred. You can only check in at a venue when you are physically there. Spoofing your location, using multiple accounts or automating actions to gain badges or ranks is prohibited. We may remove stamps, badges or titles that we believe were gained unfairly, and we may change how they work at any time.

5. Voluntary support payments

You can make an optional, voluntary support payment ("shagun") to help keep ChaloGarba running. Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details. Every amount shown includes 18% GST where applicable. A support payment is a contribution, not a purchase of goods. In return you receive digital recognition only, such as a supporter badge and a listing on the supporter wall. Refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Acceptable use

Don't:

• post false, misleading, hateful, sexual, violent or illegal content
• harass, threaten or impersonate anyone
• scrape, overload or try to break the service, or get around its security or bot protection
• use ChaloGarba for unsolicited advertising

We may suspend or restrict accounts that break these rules, with or without notice.

7. Safety

Garbas can be crowded and run late into the night. Travel safely, follow the venue's rules and local law, and look out for your gang. ChaloGarba isn't responsible for events, venues, organizers, travel or anything that happens at an event.

8. Intellectual property

The ChaloGarba name, design, card artwork and software belong to the operator. You may share the cards ChaloGarba generates for you on social media.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

ChaloGarba is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law permits, our total liability for any claim relating to ChaloGarba is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is lower.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at the operator's registered city have exclusive jurisdiction.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. If we make significant changes, we'll show a notice in the app. Continuing to use ChaloGarba after a change means you accept the updated terms.
